New Timber Wolf mini

Does anyone (i.e. Merric) know if one can use the new wolf mini as a sub for the greycloak ranger's wolf mini?

If not, is anyone interested in getting rid of the old wolf, with card? Or does anyone know a good place to find one? Pop collections, Ebay, and a few other sites I check have yielded nothing.

You can find the harbinger set wolf at http://www.maxminis.com/ I just did a search in the marketplace forum and the first thread result turned up a guy who has 6 to sell/trade. Can't link directly unfortunately.

That being said, I'm sure most opponents in a casual game wouldn't mind if you used a proxy mini as long as everyone was clear on that and the rules in question.

Thanks BFG, I got in contact with vesivus on that site and hopefully will hear good news.

I appreciate your quick response; it has been a tough time searching, and I plan to use the wolves in tournament play, hence the question. I know my friends would care very little if I used the Timber, but I was concerned about people I don't know. Rules sticklers, etc.

The Graycloak Ranger can use the Timber Wolf as a Minion, but it cannot remove the Timber Wolf's Wild ability.

Minions (1 Wolf with cost 5; treat this Wolf as if it did not have the Difficult ability)

Unfortunately for the Graycloak Ranger, since the skirmish designers have done away with the difficult ability, there will be no future Wolf figures that it can bring in as a Minion that can be put under command. However, if you have a Greenfang Druid in your warband, the Timber Wolf can be put under command by its Beatmaster ability, as long as the Druid is kept alive.
