[QUOTE="JoeGKushner, post: 1100420, member: 1129"] Nightfall, I'm glad that you're enjoying Diamond Throne. I agree that AU is pretty interesting so far. I've been lucky enough to get my own Warmain up to 2nd level and almost 3rd. However, I think people are noting you in particular because several has asked that we wait until UA actually comes out but here are like four post from you that keep going on about Diamond Throne. I mean, maybe you just don't realize that you're hitting the exact same points over and over again? I know I appreciate all of the hard work you put into 'pimping' the SL setting and have enjoyed your thoughts on various books and how they fit into the setting and it's perfectly okay to say, "Don't know if I'm interested in this based on the information." but you keep coming back to the same points over and over. "Eh. I like AU...not sure about UA... Joe, No problem by me...I just happen to like the fact Diamond throne used Scarred Lands stuff. I doubt the same can be said for this book. But that only makes me slightly biased...doesn't it? But I will point out what I like about AU is that it deals a lot more with rituals and pomp and circumstance. Plus the fact that while the power levels are a little more in some areas for the core classes, they aren't per-se as bad as some others. (IE, while a greenbond may have more access to various healing spells, via Positive Energy, a cleric and a druid can still kick said character around at various levels. This is primarily do the fact there are feats and spells that can INCREASE a 3.0 or 3.5 cleric or druid's focuses more than say a Greenbond to various degrees.) Now for UA, sure there might be stuff to improve on various EXISTING D&D/d20 campaigns. But realastically I got enough variants from the Player's Guides so far to make me feel more comfortable than waiting around for another book to do so. Like to point out these are just MY feelings/thoughts/opinions. I am liable to change them...but it's doubtful. Also another reason for me liking AU is the Diamond Throne campaign book offers ways of incorporating Relics and Rituals (1 and 2) prestige classes AND CC 1 and CC 2 monsters (I assumed Monte used CC Revised in place of CC 1 since it's a better book overall.)"
