New Versions AV3 / DP2 etc

Is there a release timetable.

Our Cleric in particular is looking to the next divine power for some intervention from above with a decent Paragon Path that works for him.

And it will be next year that we hit Paragon.

There are currently no y power x books on the release schedule and AV3 isn't on the list either.

Read some of the threads about the "essential books" some call them 4.5. If you want more crunch for clerics you pretty much have to buy the essentials or have a DDI sub to get it online.

Hoping for an useful dragon article is another option.

Cheers, that Octopus really knew his stuff aye.

Yeah the essentials threads and it seems pretty clear no one knows what is going to happen, if their are feats / powers / PP's his character can use he will be happy.

When are they due ?
I am assuming they will be compatable with 4e

Yep, Nik..... Also, Gen Con is under a month away and there will be lots of announcements about upcoming products made then. Unitl then announcements have been and likely will continue to be pretty thin.

Mordenkainen's Magnificent Emporium (to be released in April 2011) might be something like AV3.

From the sound of it this IS "AV3", they just gave it a bit more fanciful name.

Personally I'm skeptical that we will see more in the Power series. Its possible, but they would be somewhat strange books at this point. Either dealing only with core 4e builds or mixing together Essentials and 4e core class build support.

I'd hope for a sort of final 'wrap up' Power style book that deals with a few classes that have been short-changed due to the order things were released.

In other words we have the Seeker, Runepriest, and Artificer that missed out on any power book support at all. I could imagine a supplement to cover just those less well supported classes. Of course its more likely they'll just get a bunch of DDI love.

Beyond that it seems to me expanded support for Essentials classes is much more likely to show up, and I just don't see them mixing the two in a single book. I guess its POSSIBLE, as it would be a 'Player Options' book or something.

If you want something to appear in DDI (Dungeon or Dragon), you could, of course, write an article and submit it for publication.

:)
