I've come up with a couple new Warforged feats that I think would give them a bot more flexibility. I am looking for constructive comments and advice. Thank you. Seakin [Warforged] Most Warforged seem best suited to a career as infantry soldiers. Some however were designed to be more flexible in their career options. The Seakin have been designed for an aquatic lifestyle, taking full advantage of the Warforged racial ability of not needing to breath. Prerequisites: Warforged, 1st level only. Benefit: The warforged has been optimized for an aquatic life. They have a Swim speed of 30 but their land speed is reduced to twenty (20). Seakin Warforged webbed feet are better suited to an aquatic world than walking on land. A Seakin Warforged has a +8 racial bonus on any Swim check to perform some special action or avoid a hazard. It can always choose to take 10 on a Swim check, even if distracted or endangered. It can use the run action while swimming, provided it swims in a straight line. A Seakin Warforged has the Aquatic subtype. Normal: A Warforged has a land speed of 30 and no special bonuses to their Swim skill. Special: Unlike most feats, this feat must be taken at 1st level, during character creation. Spiderkin [Warforged] Most Warforged seem best suited to a career as infantry soldiers. Some however were designed to be more flexible in their career options. The Spiderkin have been designed for climbing, with small retractable claws on their fingers and toes. Prerequisites: Warforged, 1st level only. Benefit: A Spiderkin Warforged has a Climbing speed of 20 and a +8 racial bonus on Climb checks. Spiderkin Warforged can always choose to take 10 on Climb checks, even if rushed or threatened. Spiderkin Warforged uses either their Strength or Dexterity modifier for Climb checks, whichever is higher. Normal: A Warforged has no special bonuses to their Climb skill. Special: Unlike most feats, this feat must be taken at 1st level, during character creation.
