How far into the quest line do you have to go to get them? I've only done the initial quest with Paladin Danse (the one where you go to the ArcJet place and set him and all the synths on fire with the rocket engine). I also stumbled across the Lost Patrol and completed that quest.But yes, I've actually been trying not to fast travel as much because I've yet to run into any recruitable merchants and the like. I also bumped into that lady from Vault 81 at the cannery but didn't get to talk to her fully before she walked out the door, and I haven't been able to find her since. So I'm trying to limit my fast traveling to jumping between settlements (via the Institute) when I'm doing population management / settlement building type stuff.</blockquote>
