Short version: There’s already a 5e System Reference Document released under the OGL and, since the OGL can’t be rescinded, third parties will still be able produce 5e compatible material under the OGL. <a href="https://www.enworld.org/threads/statement-on-ogl-from-wotc.693355/" target="_blank">Wizards of the Coast themselves addressed the rumors with the following statement</a>:</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>This likely means that no decision has been made regarding the inclusion of any <em>new material </em>from One D&D in the SRD, but content that is compatible with 5e will be compatible with One D&D. This would be in line with previous releases from Wizards of the Coast, where most new races, backgrounds, and subclasses released via sourcebooks and even many in the <em>Player’s Handbook </em>have not been released under the OGL.</p><p></p><p style="text-align: center">[ATTACH=full]267837[/ATTACH]</p><p></p><p><a href="https://www.enworld.org/threads/chronicles-of-eberron-is-keith-bakers-new-d-d-book.693175/" target="_blank">Keith Baker returns once again to the setting he created with <em>Chronicles of Eberron </em>on DMs Guild</a><em>. </em>The 200-page sourcebook will feature new lore, advice for players and DMs, and new game options including monsters, spells, magic items, treasure, and character options. The book will be available in PDF and print-on-demand starting in December. The PDF features ten mysteries for Original Series era Starfleet crews filled with the strange and wonderous things of the cosmos and challenging the crew to solve the underlying mystery of each. Each Brief is designed to be played alone or can be strung together to form a campaign, and the setting can be modified for other eras of play. The book includes four mysteries all across the Mythic North for players to solve. “A Dance of Death” sends the characters to investigate a deadly mystery in the green vales of Dalarna, “Fireheart” takes place during the hottest summer in living memory for the village of Småland causing crop failures and wildfires with the party tasked with finding the cause. “The Devil on the Moor” heads to the windsweapt autumn moors of Grimsted Lyng to investigate a tale of horror in the clash between modernity and the old ways. Finally, “A Winter’s Tale” is set in the snow-covered forests of Ingria where an unknown being stalks the night. Characters will solve mysteries, catch criminals, and come to grips with “demi-monde”, those who have been irreversibly changed by magic. The game is based on the novel series by Ben Aaronovich (best known otherwise for writing the <em>Doctor Who </em>serial <em>Remembrance of the Daleks </em>(where Ace beats the crap out of a Dalek with a baseball bat cementing her as the most badass companion)) starting in 2011 with <em>Rivers of London </em>(retitled <em>Midnight Riot </em>in for the US release) and has expanded into nine novels, three novellas, nine graphic novels, and an upcoming television series. The PDF goes on sale on November 30 with the hardcover expected next year. The book includes four mysteries all across the Mythic North for players to solve. “A Dance of Death” sends the characters to investigate a deadly mystery in the green vales of Dalarna, “Fireheart” takes place during the hottest summer in living memory for the village of Småland causing crop failures and wildfires with the party tasked with finding the cause. “The Devil on the Moor” heads to the windsweapt autumn moors of Grimsted Lyng to investigate a tale of horror in the clash between modernity and the old ways. Finally, “A Winter’s Tale” is set in the snow-covered forests of Ingria where an unknown being stalks the night. The hardcover is available for KR 398 (US$38.27, £31.61) with a Foundary VTT edition for KR 148 (US$14.23, £11.75), and a bundle for KR 478 (US$45.96, £37.96) for a release on December 6. [/I]The game places the players in the roles of newly recruited members of the London Metropolitan Police Service’s special magic branch known as “The Folly”. Characters will solve mysteries, catch criminals, and come to grips with “demi-monde”, those who have been irreversibly changed by magic. The game is based on the novel series by Ben Aaronovich (best known otherwise for writing the [I]Doctor Who [/I]serial [I]Remembrance of the Daleks [/I](where Ace beats the crap out of a Dalek with a baseball bat cementing her as the most badass companion)) starting in 2011 with [I]Rivers of London [/I](retitled [I]Midnight Riot [/I]in for the US release) and has expanded into nine novels, three novellas, nine graphic novels, and an upcoming television series. The PDF goes on sale on November 30 with the hardcover expected next year.
