[QUOTE="conclave27, post: 7740704, member: 95216"] Well actually Dark Sun was never overpowered. It was only different in the sense that it was a world based upon psionics, you had deflling magic, divine outer planar abilities were off, and there was a lack of metal weapons. It was silly that the world was supposedly sealed off when it wasn't. Given the history of Athas, like every other world it just suffered cataclysm and petty sorcerer-kings that hid knowledge. Like any D&D world, there should be some level of support it in 2E Revised set they did a lot to flesh out the world, and the D20 era had huge faniste support. Spelljammer, is a "fun" setting but really unrealistic. The concept is great that there is wildspace to explore....but the logistic of ships and no one big threat to the world is lacking. The Illithid and Neogi should be a threat, there should be stellar nations, explaniations as to why spelljammers haven't been used to conquer planets? Stay away from traditional races..... Lastly Dragonlance, the Red-Headed step child..... my favorite world...but there are some many indecisive things on the world of Krynn. The world of Krynn technically has three continents.... Taladas is often ignored, and the fan made "Official" one is interesting. People forget that the world has some strange rules to it.... like the level cap for wizards due to the Towers of High Sorcery, there are technically no vampires until the age of mortals, no lycnthropes, and for some reason psionics do not work on krynn. It feels that a lot of people just want there XX campaign setting shoe horned in with what ever current rules out there... and forgetting the unique things that make their campaign settings special.
