Basically all the major skills have a series of feats under each one that expands the use of those skills. This is the core of the system. Minor Skills are those skills that don't fall into that paradigm that well. They are things like crafts, professions, musical skills, interests, and languages. My breakthrough came when I realized that I could do this by tech level and make it a lot more interesting and less cumbersome.
