Selke Trophy that is annually awarded to the NHL's top defensive forward.The Sharks acquired McCauley along with forward Brad Boyes and a first-round selection in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft for forward Owen Nolan from the Toronto Maple Leafs on March 5, 2003.</blockquote>
