It's finally out on DVD in the US and so I finally got to see it after hearing about it for so long (I guess since 2004).
It was pretty good, but it turned out to be a lot more Hollywood-ish than I expected. For one, they used too much CGI, which often got in the way of what was going on. For another, the ending was pretty obvious. And most annoyingly, all the product placement. Especially those annoying video game scenes.
I hope it doesn't take as long for the sequel to show up in the US.
And some things don't make sense to me.

How did Anton (or whatever the the main character's name is) "kill" the vampire? He did no such thing, as far as I could tell, it was the person turning on the light on the truck that was the direct cause, but really, the vampire itself was to blame.
Secondly, was that woman who he wanted back his wife or just girlfriend? I thought it said wife early on, but later on it was just girlfriend when he was talking to the owl lady. And realistically, wouldn't she sue him for child support?
