Nithrekel recanted the details of their patrol stating that after two days of patrolling they had found none of Sheveker’s troops in the area and had returned on the morning of the third day. After Nithrekel had completed his report Hazergal had flown into a paranoid rage, accusing Nithrekel of not patrolling long enough for he was sure Sheveker’s troops were out there waiting to attack. Hazergal had snatched the mithral scourge from his belt and had started towards Nithrekel who familiar with his master’s rages calmly awaited his punishment.
