No More Mind's Eye :(

I tend to be behind on the boards, as I don't have as much free time as I used to, so forgive if this is a duplicate thread. I was checking out Wizard's site today and saw the announcement that the Mind's Eye feature is gone. This saddens me a lot, as there were some really good articles for psionics fans. They made tons of material available, but I will still miss having this resource for psionics.

I agree, it was one of the best. I really liked that there were so many people involved with it, and yet it didn't have that "too many cooks" feeling. As cliched as it sounds, it was a labor of love. Though I'm glad Wizards is incorporating more psionic material in their books, I really wish there was still a good web site or newsletter or something for psionics.

The last Mind's Eye contains links to two zip files that they say compiles all the articles. One of 'em is identical to the file I got last year, but the other one looks to be new.

The first zip file has a secondary file with the rest of the 3E psionics material. The second zip file has, as you said, all of the 3.5E one. My only real regret is that the bulk of the material is 3E and not converted to 3.5E. That would have been a spectacular send off.

As it stands, I'm seriously going to miss this column. It was one of my favorites. Thank you Mark and Scott for all that you gave!

On one hand, this is bad. This is the second feature that they've cancelled, along with the map line.

On the other, I appreciate all the free extras that they've given us. It also opens up the door for 3rd party support. "first psionic support product since x!"
