Just in case the regulars and first timers had not seen the news, there will be no Mortality Radio this evening (Friday September 3rd 8pm EST) due to the proximity of a hurricane in the area.

Adlon advises that the next show will be September 17th.

Well, i certaintly hope the guys make thorugh all right.

Maybe i am just over-reacting but, isn't there a point where you think "Okay, no more living in florida!"

Seems like its gotten to the point where Florida gets ravaged at least every month during the storm season, causing death and Billions and billions of dollars worth of damage. At some point we need to say..Montana, yeah montana is nice. Move there please.

Right around the time you think 'didn't there used to be a trailer park here?'
Never lived in Florida, but I lived in Kansas for a while, when a twister is in the area you learn to get someplace else fast. And the sight of the tornado - hanging from the sky like a dirty rope, the whole sky a weird green yellow, and the air smelling like a sneeze... Oh yeah, I am glad I live in Maine these days...

You said it! Next time we're shovelling a 24 hour/3 foot snow bomb up here this winter and someone complains, i'm gonna bust my shovel over their head. :)

Thansk for the heads up Maransreth. I had been looking for news about the show at mortality.net. Hope everyone is ok in Ft Myers and elsewhere.

John,
Due to when Adlon mentioned it on Mortality homepage and the number of news items after that, it was pushed to about halfway down (perhaps even further now) the firstpage of mortality.

Since, Adlon as posted they were buffeted by winds, but little else damagewise. And not being in the US, I am not sure how much damage was done to the rest of Florida.
