So I grabbed The Supernatural Handbook and The Two-Headed Serpent from the Halloween Sale. The Handbook is a supernatural horror sourcebook for the Mutants and Masterminds superhero game and the Serpent one is a Pulp Cthulhu adventure campaign. I don't plan on running either M&M or CoC but I do like running Gothic Horror in D&D such as Ravenloft and the Carrion Crown Adventure Path and it looks like both could be useful for my D&D games. D&D with its hp and PC magic is often compared to fantasy superheroes so a horror sourcebook more about themes and running adventures for that genre sounds like a good fit. Since I saw Michael Tresca's review of the CoC adventure Tatters of the King on Amazon for his 3e D&D game I thought pulpy Cthulhu seemed a good fit for the D&D I like too. Plus the parallels of pulp era real world seem easy to adapt to D&D, Bolivia could be Hepmonoland, New York Mafia could be Greyhawk thieves' guild, and the Congo could be the Mwangi expanse or deepest Nyambe. Any Non-D&D sourcebooks you are looking at for use in your D&D game? Any that have turned out super useful for you?
