[QUOTE="Stalker0, post: 9817973, member: 5889"] So I faced the peril and dived in to episode 1. My quick spoiler filled review: [Spoiler] So the animation itself is pretty good. Its clearly AI, but most of it is pretty consistent. Its just stilted, repetitive, the usual AI issues. There are two moments where the AI goes "off the rails". 1) One guy who gets poisoned vomits in what looks like from a horror movie. 2) At one point the Native American guy shifts to look more asian which took a moment to understand what had happened. Plot wise....its completely ridiculous. 6 people are thrown into survival zones, and have to survie the wilderness AND are trying to kill each other. You have 2 special forces guys (ok solid), one ex-military (alright). Than you have a guy who grew up in the wilderness and is a survival expert (um...yeah...ok). Than you have a survival influencer (what?)....but at least she is a survival expert even if she has no combat training. But lastly, we have this scrawny girl that went to prison for a long time. So little combat skills, little survival skills....what in the ever living F is she doing there? Here first scene is going "how does anyone tell what berries are good to eat". and of course the special forces guy is giving a rifle with a scope, but fails to hit said scramny girl from a short distance where she is just standing there lookign like an idiot. hehe he then proceeds to say "if this is the caliber of competition I'll be going home early". I will give it one point of credit....there is one line that I did think was bad ass "Excellence doesn't come with a reward, it is the minimum cost of respect". Ok fair play AI that goes in the book. So yeah, this is bad. Its not interesting or really entertaining. But its functional, and give the AI another pass to streamline some of the stilted video and make skin look more organic and not like everyone has had bad plastic surgery....who knows what could pop out.
