bought it at RPGNow.com in a bundel set with all 3 books for 9.00. it was on sale.
i can compair it to a HP lovecraft monster or something sorta of near the same. i use it for a D&D 3.5 undead quest as a DM and hopefuly as a player. i hope other books like this are made and i hope they are just as much of a joy as all of the others in this set.
I am a DM that looks for books like these cause i enjoy sending my players threw a undead or Vile kind of adventuers that has untold horrors, i just wish there was more or maybe a book of underlings or monster followers that are not bosses for players to go agents cause it is a pain sometimes makeing up followers and their stats.
my players have almost died many of times which is good meaning it is not easy like some of the book adventuers are. it surprised me with how well it was made and details were super great.
I really enjoy how the npc details are very well made and hardly anything is left out. makes it fun and interasting sending people threw this adventuer.
i am not going to review the other 2 books cause i have a 5 star pluse comming up with 500 words for the other books will be hard pluse i dont know if it only my book or all books but in my copy has a incompleat.
i am only reviewing here because i do have a small problem with my copy of this book. under the class featuers for players to make a Soul Harvester it is blank for the table. so i have no idea what a lvl 1 - 10 Soul Harvester stats are because of blank table it has the other table for the enhancement bonous but not the lvl stats table. this can be a problem if i want to make a Soul Harvester caracter but other then that it is great, i use it to send players threw my undead campaign it is fun to mess with their heads. if i got the table i would change it to a 5 star. i hate to have a book not compleat. it bugs me to death.
i hope this can be fixed with no problems and i really enjoy this product but with it haveing a blank table means it is incompleat and i cant have a incompleat product in my collection. it is like haveing a handel for a knife but not the blade. when i am DMing a game it is not a problem but later in the futer when i am a player i might like to creat a soul harvester for my self. i am sorry for some of the rambeling and repeat of some words i am trying to come up with 500 words. and pluse if other have this problem in the futer it will be nice to show others how problems like this are delt with.
