I didn't write down any "quotable quotes" this time around, but from memory: Sky Galleons Game The party is flying along in their skyship when they are attacked by flying martians. Tex (adamantine angel) raises his Sharps "Big Fifty" and prepares to fire, then pauses, "With yer permishun, Ma'am?" You gotta love folks that ask permission to fire their .50 caliber weapons! Later after the party emerges from the Martian pyramid to find large bore weapons pointed at them from skyship of the nefarious frenchman, Abilard: Tex: "Why should we trust you?" Abilard (NPC run by yours truly): "Zat' eez simple: I 'ave zee beeger guns!!" (Yes, I'm tooting my own horn a bit but I was thrilled to get a chance to toss that one out there.) Of Scarlet Orbs And Treachery (I think - Shemeska's morning game anyway) I poked my head into this session briefly while I ran upstairs for a drink. I asked them how it was going and they replied (more or less as a group): "We're kicking so much ass, there's no time to take names!" A Tight Spot Jeph declared that the Hasted Sorcerer he was playing was going to cast Web and Fireball (on the same area). I asked him why not just cast two Fireballs: "Because THAT'S what I'm doing next round!" Also from Jeph: "I cast Detect Poison AGAIN!" (while casting it for the FIFTH consecutive time after failing both Wisdom and Alchemy checks on the four preceeding castings.) And from Jeph (of course) when we were trying to figure out a way to close off a narrow stone corridor. "Would a Fireball be hot enough to melt the stone?..." Also memorable was the moment when Old One put this large were-bear-like miniature on the table and told us it was an Elemental. "A 'Bear Elemental'?" Corlon (I think): "Yes, composed of the Element of Bear." NCSU Codemonkey was right. There were so many funny quotes throughout this epic game that it is impossible to recall them all. But "Necro Jenga" is still my favorite! ;)
