[Norwich, VT] Summer Game 'n Grill 2011, June 18th

At the Green Mountain Gamers' annual summer outing, the Game ‘n Grill brings two great things — meat and games — together in a fiery conflagration. It's a grand gaming picnic. Everyone brings their favorite games and picnic supplies.

In the manner of these traveling game days, it's an open play free for all from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Bring your favorite game to share or try a game someone else brings to the table. Additionally, some folks are planning ahead for games that run long or take advance preparation, like role-playing games. So check out the Summer Game 'n Grill page for info on that.

The Game 'n Grill's only a week off and we've had a lot of developments in the meantime:

Green Mountain Gamers sponsors a raffle to benefit the Hartwell family of the Northeast Kingdom.

Triple Play, West Lebanon, New Hampshire's friendly local game store, sponsors a Race for the Galaxy tournament with a $30 gift certificate to the first place winner.

Community member MattG is organizing a game garage sale, based out of a geeklist on Boardgamegeek.

The heart of Green Mountain Game Days is open freeforall play, but there are plans brewing even now for A Game of Thrones, Battlestar Galactica, Castaways of Deadmans Bay -- kindly donated by the publisher, Ponder Zombie Games, an Overlord scenario of Memoir '44 and InSpectres.
