So against Fire creatures, there's no save and they take extra from the cold. Against creatures that are immune to cold, they still take 3d6 from the impact (very few things have impact resistance).Cons: It does not increase in power as you level up. But as an empowered spel, again with no save, you can continue to get value out of it. Just a thought.Also, from a purely metagame/powergame standpoint, Energy Substitution (Sonic) is pretty awesome. Almost no one has immunity to Sonic damage, hehe...</blockquote>
