[QUOTE="Count_Zero, post: 9426632, member: 40164"] There is a point you've omitted in the minuses - TSR's litigation under her tenure. There's the lawsuits not only against New Infinites Productions, but also against GDW and against Mayfair Games. There's also the legal threats against members of the fan community, including fansites. Yes, Palladium Games was also litigious in this regard - and they were also justly criticized for it in equal (possibly even greater) measure. I will say that it's possible that these legal actions were taken without the knowledge or consent of Lorraine Williams as CEO. However, if your legal department is effectively going into business for themselves in ways that saps goodwill from your customers, and harms your reputation in the industry, the buck stops with the CEO, and not checking this behavior lies with them, no matter their gender. Finally, when it comes with the Buck Rogers license - yes, TSR had been engaging in self-dealing before, and other companies do it - that doesn't mean it isn't bad. Lots of companies engage in wage theft on a regular basis - that doesn't make it okay. It's especially bad when it leads to a bunch of unsold inventory and retailer returns. Is a lot of the criticism steeped in misogyny - absolutely. That doesn't mean it's all wrong, and it doesn't mean that her decisions in running TSR weren't detrimental to company and ultimately lead to a toxic work environment and the company's collapse. Disclaimer: I wasn't sold enough on the episodes I listened to, combined with the incredibly long break after those first few episodes, to listen to the rest of the show after it went behind a paywall.
