OOC: Argent, Manzanita's character is a she. :) By the way, did I do all right with the accent? I shouldn't have to speak for you much more. Radivan eyes each of you in turn, then says, "Very well." He whistles, and a rather speedy human appears. "Take these ladies and gentlemen to see Calemon. If they draw a weapon, make sure everyone knows about it." He turns to Selene. "No offense, I'm sure you understand." "Don' mention it." The lanky human--his name, you learn, is Bill, and you also learn about how excited he is to be part of the Irregulars, his favorite sort of flowers, his thoughts on the undead outside, the economics of the time, and the slow collapse of feudalism in favor of a city-dwelling bourgeoisie--leads you rapidly through what seem like a nearly infinite number of corridors, most of which, the dwarves have already noticed, are below ground. If the Alten's Rock outpost is this large, the Colinna station must be huge. Finally, you reach what can only be an office door. "This is Calemon's office," says Bill, who raps lightly on the door. "Mr. Calemon, some people to see you." Bill scurries away as the door opens. The first thing you notice is the office itself: spacious, clean, and solid, it looks like it could withstand an earthquake, and possibly had already done so at some point. When you finally look down a bit, you notice Calemon himself, a wizened gnome of perhaps two hundred fifty years. He leans on a staff that appears to be made of pure darkwood, and looks through gold-rimmed spectacles into your eyes, with fierce intensity. His voice is somewhat high-pitched when he finally speaks. "Well? What have you come to me for? Speak!"
