But- WotC has to protect its property or else they lose it to public domain. Look what happen to the Lovecraft stuff. The Lovecraft estate missed their que and all the HP stuff is now public domain.Some probably are; some probably aren't. I know back in the early 90's my band played with a local Atlanta band called "Strutter" (Kiss cover band) and Strutter eventually got into trouble. Apparently Kiss was not very pleased with them naming their band after one of their songs and playing a lot of their songs on stage.
