OK, I'm not planning on doing this every month, but to follow the form for the reading/watching threads, I added the month. What are you listening to this month? The reason I ask is that I have found myself listening to one CD a lot this month: Avenue Q. It's a new show on Broadway and a friend told me to get the disc. It's done with puppets (imagine the writers of South Park using Sesame Street puppets for a big old-fashioned musical and you get the idea). My friend says there are problems with it as a play (e.g., the plot is clumsy), but he really liked the songs. With titles like It Sucks to Be Me and The Internet is for Porn, they really are fun. To keep it on topic for EN World, some of the characters are monsters. And one is named Trekkie Monster. I'm finding the songs very catchy and I am listening to them over and over. The last album I did this with was probably the Alien soundtrack in 1979 or Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street in the same year. And when I say album, I mean vinyl. :D So, I'm just wondering if some music has gotten into your head recently and won't leave. When that happens to me, I just listen to it for a few weeks (or months), and eventually something else takes its place.
