I don't usually buy 2 "new" (that is, just released and full priced) games in a month, and I've already ordered NWN2, but I just got Vice City Stories for the PSP. I'm not a huge fan of the GTA games, but Vice City was great, since I used to live in the Florida in the 80s, and it's like a time machine, almost. Anyway, VCS is nothing short of amazing, from a technical perspective. It looks much, much, much better than VC on the PS2. I guess part of it is because of the screen (LCD, compared to my crappy TV), but almost much sharper. It's not perfect - the trees sort of pop-in suddenly sometimes (Kinda like Oblivion on my PC), and you can see the texture swapping sometimes. But the people in it actually have fingers. And the cars have readable license plates. Unfortunately, the gameplay isn't so great. At least so far. The main character is likeable, but the story is pretty painful so far. And it's hard. What's worse, you can't save just before a mission, you have to save at your house, then drive all the way to the mission start, then where the mission takes place. That gets old. The soundtrack is also not as good. Hard to top the original VC, but at least this has some really nice songs. Including Human Touch by Rick Springfield, a song by Rock Master Scott (and not The Roof is on Fire). You can apparently add custom tracks, but I haven't figured that out yet...
