It is difficult to not recommend the design of the MJOLNIR power armor from the Halo games. You can find a page showing off the various variations here.

I was trying to find a good image of the Sol Tekkaman powered armor from Tekkaman Blade (AKA Technoman), but the best I could find was this product page selling a toy version. It still shows off the design fairly well though.

EDIT: Okay, you can find a webpage that has images and detailed write-ups on every Iron Man armor ever here. They all look pretty much the same, but there are a couple cool designs in there. Obviously, Iron Man is overpowered for a non-superhero campaign, but you never know where inspiration can come from, I suppose.

Well I'm thinking of having my gravitic age power armor based around the ideas from Iron Man. Repulsors and Repulsorlifts are basically Gravitic Age. Having them in the boots and hands would be possible by the gravitic age. It would make for great space armor and give excellent control.
