[QUOTE="Harlock, post: 1114292, member: 4545"] Be forewarned, a writer I am not. Calastian Battle Mage - Trained at the esteemed academy of magic, The Crucible of Mesos, these Calastian militant mage fighters are trained not only in martial magic but also in strategy and other aspects of warfare. They serve to augment a regiment with offensive firepower and suffer the same fate as the common soldiers, win or lose. Coddling just wouldn't befit a member of the Calastian Armed Forces under Virduk's watchful eye. Pg 93-94 Dragon Knight - These chivalric knights ride Mock Dragons into battle driving fear and panic into the enemy. The Dragon Knights have a special mystical bond with their mount which they train with exclusively. Eventually the bond between rider and mock dragon become so intertwined the Knights actually develop charactersitics of their mounts! Pg 95-97 Halfling Stalker - Part of King Virduk's empowerment of the Halfling race has been bestowing military honor on them with this special guerilla warfare/covert operations force. With training in stalking, hiding and sneak attacks these Halflings are not to be underestimated because it may be the last thing one does in this mortal coil. Pg 98-99 Kilharman League Envoy - These inscrutable scoundrels are respnsible for most of the organized crime that takes place right under the Black Dragon Throne's nose. Fences, extortionists and worse, these agents of the organized crime syndicate known as the Kilharman League are near aristocrats who operate outside of the law without regard for the dictates of King Virduk. Pg 100-101 Monk of the Sacred Chain - Monks of Chardun, the Order of the Sacred Chain practice total self mastery through servitude and devotion to The Slaver. As their name implies, they are masters of the spiked chain in combat and believe in perfection through the disciplines of pain and domination through Chardun. Pg 102-103 Thorned Purifier - Master Inquisitors who enforce the will of Chardun, Thorned Purifiers seek to absolve and sanctify the unrighteous followers of other gods, and especially those that fail to reverance Chardun adequately, through pain. With special powers to "help" others see the folly of not acknowledging the Overlord, they can be used by officials to extract information through torture or may just be wandering proselytes expounding and subjugating "converts" for Chardun.
