Yup, we had a good old fashioned hailstorm this afternoon, with appropriate amounts of thunder, lightening, lashing winds and even a tornado warning for an adjacent county. I wish I already had a kid old enough to show the hail and break a peice apart and look at the rings... it's such neat stuff.In related news, I have a BRAVE pug!  <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f600.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D"  data-smilie="8"data-shortname=":D" />  The hubby may pine for the German Shepard of his youth and cast asperations on Lilac's canininity (I don't think thats a word) but this little smushed face mutant has shown no anxiety in the face of fireworks and midnight thunderstorms and was calmer in the hail and lightening than I was. A little sad looking at the noise, but a few jolly words from me and she put it aside as not to worry about and started wanting to play tug. German shepards, ha!
