Regarding stats There are not the sort of encounters that I would bother with stats for. As I heard it aptly put elsewhere, 'If you give it stats, the players will kill it'. Since I would not run these encounters with the goal of having the players kill the NPC in question, I would not bother with fleshing out such elements as class, HP, Ac, Saves, etc. Nathan is the only NPC listed that I would force into a combat situation, and if the players made an attack roll of any sort, they would hit him, and likely kill him. The rest should either run, surrender, or die as the situation dictates. Really, were not talking about campaign critical elements here, so why would you need more stats? Just take the concept, run with it, and make stuff up. If you use Nathan, just force the issue, and pick a fight, and see how the players deal with it. Do they try to avoid the fight? Throw down and open with a +8 power attack and maximized fireball? Use subdual damage and try to take him down gently? Ignore him? Likewise, if you give Heather a shot, don't take no for an answer. Make the players squirm and cringe. Have every sexual advance tinged with the utter lovecraftian horror that she would represent. The entire point of having an irrational and hostile NPC is to give the players a situation to deal with that defies all of the normal rules of interpersonal interaction. Its not a fight, a trap, or a puzzle. It is not something that is covered in any of the standard WoTC splat books. On top of that, you can really mess with your players heads. What does a paladins code say about how to deal with a clingy gnome child who insists that the human paladin is her daddy? END COMMUNICATION
