Question: Which is best for a Deep Wood Sniper? Boots of Speed, Striding and Springing, or Elvenkind?

Well, if you ar egoing to have only a little combat haste. But if you fight more then 10 rounds of combat, they become least useful.

If you have manyshot feat and shot on the run, striding and springing is what you want.

If you are trying to be sneaking, then boots of elvenkind, but I think out of the three it's the least desirible choice.

It's for an NPC.

He doesn't have Manyshot or SotR, though Speed is a little costly.

Another great thing about the boots of striding and springinf is taking advantage of the lay of the land. You can have great leaps, so easy to get on a ledge or high in a tree to shoot from. Also, with the great range of the DWS, taking a full move run will not hinder your attacks much.
