Don't you hate it when these PC's come into town and think they own the place. Demanding this, wanting that.
They have this gem they want to sell you and they DEMAND you give them there asking price. I bet they get the guy who doesn't even know how to appraise to appraise the gem. I hear them mutter "Its an untrained skill, anybody can do it." Then they say they want this much, I give them a lower number and they get all insulted. They never heard of haggling.
Worse is when you are selling say a long sword to them, they KNOW it costs 15 gold, like there is some magical book that tells all the players how much gear is. If I try to get 17 gold out them they get all annoyed. I guess its alright to haggle a price when they get the money, but when its there cash they pucker up pretty tight.
They they always have to be the bestest in the land. Henry over there is strong, but that big dufus in the group of adventures who walk into town starts picking a fight just to show who is better.
Then there is the nobility, ohh we show proper respect but these people don't. If I did that the noble would kill me on the spot.
I have heard rumors, that in some lands the NPC are more powerful than these grave robbing trouble makers. Ahh to live in one of those utopias.
