Greetings! I will be running my next game on Wednesday, July 3, at 7:00 p.m. Pacific time. The game is entitled "The Crossroads" and is a compilation of nearly all of the work I've done thus far on the NWN Toolset (see my last post for more details about the size of this project). The game should take two hours or more to play through (heck, I'll leave it up all the way till 11 p.m. if need be ;)) but people can come and go if they wish. The game should be entirely self-sufficient, but I may drop in and out as DM to monitor things, possess NPCs, spawn monsters, etc. Folks who have played one of my games before will find all of those earlier modules included as areas you can visit. Don't worry, there will still be areas for you to visit that you haven't seen before. I am pushing a little, to see what my brand spanking new Dell P4 machine can handle, so please be patient if the server hangs or crashes (if it does crash, we'll just continue from the last save). I haven't had any problems so far, even with large areas and full parties, but you never can tell. (time to see if that $50/month DSL line can hack it!) I host my games in the "Role-Play" section of the matching service. I am not password-locking the game so anyone can drop in if they wish. Click on the "Role-Play" option in the category box in the upper left part of the matching service screen to find my game. Server name: [EN] Lazybones Module name: The Crossroads Game type: server characters (so unless you've played with me before, you'll need to create a new 1st level character, or choose one of the defaults, upon entering). Of the four adventures that make up this module, three are for 1st-2nd level characters and one is for 3-4th level characters (don't worry, the areas will be clearly labeled in play). Characters who start at 1st level should be able to level up to at least level 4 if they play well and don't die too often :). Enforce Legal Characters: on Item Level Restrictions: off Max players: 8 (I thought about trying 12, but after reading LightPhoenix's post I think I'll take small steps). Game style: cooperative role-playing. I'm not going to start with a default inclusive party, but strongly encourage the players to role-play forming a party. This means that there can be more than one party in the game at once, pursuing different goals (I'm really trying to test the limits of my server, here). Folks who run off alone will be encouraged to join a party (if necessary, I can use my DM powers to teleport everyone to the same location, but I'd prefer to avoid doing that). I've tested the module several times, but I know there's bound to be bugs I haven't found. Consider this a "beta." RSVPs aren't necessary but feel free to reply if you are interested. Thanks and I look forward to seeing ENWorlders online! LB
