Greetings! I have two games to announce today. Both are versions of my campaign module, "The Crossroads." I have listed these games at www.neverwinterconnections.com, and I ask that if you want to play that you please sign up for the games at that site. It's very easy and it lets me keep track of who's going to be playing (and send messages, etc. to the players in advance). GAME 1 I will be running the module for a new group of players on Sunday morning, July 7, at 7:30 a.m. Pacific time. I am scheduling the game for two hours (till approximately the time when my fiancee gets out of bed and I have to make her breakfast ;)). This is a campaign module, but you are welcome to come for a one-shot if you like. I am not password locking the first game so anyone can drop in this time. I do prefer that you sign up at neverwinterconnections, however. GAME 2 I will be continuing the module for returning players from the July 3 game on Wednesday, July 10, at 7:00 p.m. Pacific time. The game is scheduled for two hours. The game will be password locked (I gave the password to the players at the end of the last game, but will be re-messaging it to players as well). If you are an returning ENWorld player (I think I had three), please sign up at neverwinterconnections for this game. New players may also sign up but you will only be allowed to play if returning players aren't able to attend. I haven't had any problems with crashing or hangups so far, even with large areas and full parties, but if the server should crash, rejoin and we'll start from the last save. I host my games in the "Role-Play" section of the matching service. Click on the "Role-Play" option in the category box in the upper left part of the matching service screen to find my game. Server name: [EN] Lazybones Module name: The Crossroads Game type: server characters (so unless you've played with me before, you'll need to create a new 1st level character, or choose one of the defaults, upon entering). Of the four adventures that make up this module, three are for 1st-2nd level characters and one is for 3-4th level characters (don't worry, the areas will be clearly labeled in play). For my ongoing campaign, I've raised the level limit and will adjust the encounter difficulty to match your capabilities as we go. Enforce Legal Characters: on Item Level Restrictions: off Max players: 9 (that includes the DM, so 8 PCs) Actually, I find six players to be about optimal, but I've noticed that attrition is fairly normal so I leave a little extra space. Game style: cooperative role-playing. I'm not going to start with a default inclusive party, but strongly encourage the players to role-play forming a party. Folks who run off alone will be encouraged to join a party (for some reason, brown bears seem to like attacking lone travelers in this region ;)). If necessary, I can use my DM powers to teleport everyone to the same location, but I'd prefer to avoid doing that. Feel free to reply if you have questions about either game. Thanks and I look forward to seeing ENWorlders online! LB Edit: forgot to mention that the games are at Pacific time (so it's only 7:30 a.m. for you west coasters!).
