This has actually come up on the Bioware boards... they've acknowledged that the options for merchants are pretty limited. You can completely control their inventory, but there's no "maximum gold" option like in PnP. It would be nice to script in a local maximum but at the moment, that's way beyond my abilities. I do like the idea of the item-destroying anvil, however. I also don't want to give out spoilers (my second campaign group is going into the Moors on Sunday), but I thought you guys played well and adapted to adversity (it took a while, though ;)). When Jaeryn left you guys were left without any heavy hitters, and other than Meric (who's a bow specialist), your only other fighter-type was a 1st level newcomer. I don't know what happened with that function error. One minute I lost four players, but the other four were fine. It wasn't anything I did! I also learned that the "unpossess NPC" and "bring whole party to this location" commands are at exactly the same spot of the radial menu, and that if you aren't exactly on the NPC when you try to do the former, you get the latter! Ruined a nice encounter I was running. Oh well, still learning! P.S. In Crossroads II, I'll give the merchant more low-level magical items in the 1k-3k range for you guys to spend your hard-earned loot on.
