Nymph's Kiss

I don't have BoED so I don't know what is required for exalted status and what Nymph's kiss does but I'm a little intrigued.

I currently play a good Eldritch Knight who in his first solo adventure years ago (when he was a 2e fighter) rescued a nymph from kobolds and spent time with her before leaving to go back to the world of men.

What does Nymph's kiss do and what are the prereqs? From another post it looks like a nymph's love is one prereq.

Seeing the post about it being powerful but it being rare because how many good heroic characters have had the love of a nymph got me wanting to know more.

Nymph's Kiss [Exalted]
By maintianing an intimate relationship with a good-aligned fey (such as a nymph or dryad), you gain some of the characteristics of fey.
Benefit: Fey creatures regard you as though you were fey. You gain a +2 circumstance bonus to all charisma-related checks, and a +1 bonus on all saving throws bonus against spells and spell-like abilities. Starting with the level when you take this feat, you gain one extra skill point per level.

For exalted feats in general, if you ever commit any evil act, you loose the feat until you atone. You have to have the DM's permission and be a super-good person to take the feat in the first place.

Does anyone else get the impression that the first sentence implies that the second sentence should apply only toward fey creatures? Perhaps they left something out.

Perhaps they left something out and intended all the benefits to only apply in connection with fey, but the two sentences seem to be separate bonuses from the feat as written. Besides, such a fey only affecting feat would be quite weak, although the future skill points would still be nice.

One might acutally be able to argue that the relationship is not a prereq, isnce it is only listed in the flavor text. It could be just as likely that , somehwat like the leadership feat, acquiring the feat obligates the Dm to arrange for the relationship to happen.

(Not that I'd acutally let MY players do this.)

An interesting point. I somehow completely ignored the lack of Prerequisites. There still remains the general Prerequisite that the DM has to let the player have it -- the player can't just take it and MAKE the DM do anything.

Ok, that's odd... I have a 1st level character with Nymph's Kiss and I could have sworn that the Charisma bonus was only when interacting with fey. I'd better re-read the book next session!

Ain't we all? :D
But when you think of it, 'Intimate Relations with a Fey Creature'..... Anyone else worried about size issues? (sprites) Compatibility? (dryad's tree stride) Side effects? (crystalline cat)
