[OA] Ninja Spy Question

Celtavian

Dragon Lord
I was looking over the Ninja Spy class skills and it seems they don't have the Search skill as a class skill. Does anyone else find it odd that the Ninja Spy has the Disable Device skill on their class skill list but not the Search skill?

How will they be able to find traps or hidden items such as documents, magic items, doors, etc. if they don't have the search skill as a class skill? It would seem a ninja spy would be able to thoroughly search a place he has broken into or is planning to break into.

Does anyone else think the Search skill being left out of the Ninja Spy's class skill list was an oversight?

The amount of mistakes/errors/misprints/slip ups/absences in the AEG products relating to Rokugan and the OA book is atrocious.

I know that they have written some errata, that is no where near complete.

I would recommend, that such an obvious oversight was a mistake and if they don't release any official errata simply house rule it.

Just add it.

Usually Ninja Spy would crawl up overhead or below the floor of the house and spy on the residence. They're a very patient lot. Oftentime, they disguised as one of the household's help and observe the resident on where they store things.

But the bulk of their duty is to listen to what they hear (like living bug device) or assassinate someone.
