We create and operate digital marketplaces that connect content holders and consumers. We are focused on transforming specific publishing categories like roleplaying games, comic books, green living resources and more by making the content in those markets available in a digital download format. The six-year old company continues to grow and needs a Software Development Manager capable of overseeing the technical aspects of the company’s growth and the completion of vital development projects.</p><p></p><p>Under the general supervision of a managing partner, this position provides leadership and management for the software development group. Strong software development experience in a team coding environment and project management skills are required. Tremendous autonomy will be the norm for this role, consistently driving towards excellent results.</p><p></p><p>The Software Development Manager will manage a local team of developers in addition to multiple remote contractors. They will be required to perform project management roles such as new project schedule and resource estimations, prioritization of projects based on business objectives, weekly load balancing of development staff, and execution of projects on schedule. Additionally, this position will be a “hands-on” manager, able to provide expert coding examples to team members while pushing decision-making down to the individual developers.</p><p></p><p>The position is based in the Stone Mountain suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.
