Odd question (Gary Gygax at Worcester meseum)

Urklore

First Post
Seeing I am going to go to the Seminar at the Worcester Higgins Armory Museum and the lord Gygax is going to be there, and also signing later I had an odd question:

If you were going to finally meet the creator of the game that you have so enjoyed in your life, and that has opened so many new opportunities and friendships for you, what would you have him sign?

Anyone know of any place with Pictures of him, LOL. I have numerous actors and actresses signed photos with frames over my bar and would love to add his.

Urklore,

I'd have him sign some vintage D&D stuff, I suppose.

I live very closeto Worcester. Do you have the time and date for the appearance?

Thanks.

I'd take a classic module. Probably G1 - Steading of the Hill Giant Chief. Not a later reprint, like G1-2-3, but the stand-alone G1. Tattered, falling apart, 8-page, margins written in, G1.

Or maybe the little white box with the booklets.

I would do one of two things:

1) Find the oldest D&D product that you own, penned by him, and take that for signing.

2) Comb Google and other search engines for photos of Gary Gygax, find the most attractive one, have it printed on glossy 8 x 10, and ask him to sign it.

If you own a bar, you might also take a bottle of his favorite adult beverage for him as a gift, or offer to have it shipped to the address of his convenience. :) After all you're getting something from him... :) If you wanna do that, go over to the "conversation with Gary Gygax" ongoig thread in General RPG Discussion, and find out what his beverage of choice is.

I'd definitely bring my beat to death copy of B2-Keep On The Boarder lands . The first adventure I ever went through, first adventure I ever ran. And ran over and over again. I can almost trace my middle school & high school campaigns from the notes that are all over the pages.
Second would be G1-2-3 (in almost a bad condition), then D1-2, EX1 & EX2 (because I'm an Alice in Wonderland fan), and finally the Monster Manual.

Well when I had him over for dinner I had him sign my brown boxed set and original supplements. Now if you are smart though se if you can get him to sign a blank check or maybe the receipt for dinner :)
His photo is on his website and a few other places as I recall
