Once A Fool
I've just recently got my hands on this incredible adventure (who's this Monte Cook fellow that signed it, though?) and all I can say is...
Wow.
My players are going to hate you.
But not me. I can fit this into my campaign perfectly, despite the unusual nature of my setting. That's more than I can say for the only other module I've used (am using): The Speaker in Dreams. That one's heavily modified. But this one...I couldn't bring myself to do it if I needed to. Fortunately, I don't need to.
The dream handouts are especially inspiring.
There's only one problem...
I can't find a dream that's appropriate for the monk in my group. And he's kind of a cornerstone character, because he's the only one that's been there consistently from the beginning and, well, because he has a monkey.
I could just write my own, but then the player would kind of be cheated, because the other players would have these incredibly evocative dreams to read and the player of the monk would have to make do with my much blander immitation.
I can't bring myself to do it.
So...here's a request:
What would it take to convince you to write up a dream for monks?
My first instinct would be to ask for an email, as at least one of my players reads the boards, but I think that other boardmembers would also like to see one.
Please?
