We've made it out of Delhi and the polution (it's like fog) and we're now in Mussoorie in the Himalayan mountains 2000+ meters up. They say that going to India makes you a religious man, and that may be true, as there are probably more shrines, temples, and ashrams per sq. inch than anywhere else in the world, but what they really mean is that you'll become religious in India as soon as you have to ride on the Indian Roads. :D :D I wouldn't be surprised if there were more prayers said while driving than anywhere else! I'm very glad our driver was good, and like plane rides, any travel that doesn't end in a crash is actually very good travel. We're planning on staying here for a while, finding an apartment, (finish editing Monster Geographica: Marsh & Aquatic) and staying here till our visa runs out and then probably off to Kathmandu for a week or so. Mussoorie is very beautiful and the Himalayas are simply stunning. And the food RAWKS! :) joe "I guess I should start working" b.
