A bonus to Str and Wis is less useful then Str and Con to a typical min/max Fighter, so if you are going to allow a dwarf for example to have a +2 Str and +2 con, to be fair, they should lose one of their other racial bonus' ... Just a thought. Or give them +2 Con and a choice of +2 Wis or +2 Int. Elves might get +2 dex, and a choice between Wis and Char. Eladrin get +2 dex and choice between Int and Char ... etc. etc. Like I said though, 4th edition is still fairly new to me, so maybe Wis, Int, and Char are worth as much to a melee character as Str is ... but I have played a few sessions with the new system, and nothing I saw proved that, and I did use a figher in one of them.</blockquote>
