Rolled up one as well last night, forgot the results but here's my write-up. Archfey only, haven't thought much about the domain of delight. the Prince by Solstice / Queen by Equinox Also known as the the Midsummer Prince, the Prince Hibernal, the Faraway Lover, & the Wish Made Moonless When the Summer Solstice comes, so does the Midsummer Prince. His laughs boom through the wealds, puts foam on the crests of waves. Boars find themselves driven mad and their bodies grow thrice the size and then thrice again by rage. The lust of wanderers young for story and challenge ignites. The Midsummer Prince comes out amongst them, amongst all the fervor of his reign, naked, bronze of skin, hair black and curly and short and adorned with trinkets gold and silver just as his biceps and fingers and thighs and ankles are too. He runs naked through the world, wrestling monstrosities, laughing, grabbing dragons by the horns and driving them into the mountain sides, living, smiling, his fists laden with wishes, with emotions extreme, and all that hear the Midsummer Prince's laugh-song can't help but join and in turn can't help but riot across the world. So comes the autumnal equinox, and so the Midsummer Prince returns to sleeping in his distant and warbling realm. Boars shrink; sense returns to those who have lost it. The sun moves further away. The Midsummer Princes dreams midsummer dreams and the She in He steps free on this vernal day and here stands the Queen by Equinox. She is phantasmagoricly robed in black and silver with skin made from the shadow between Earth and Sun and to stand by her side is to feel as if you stand far, far away. She looks with eyes moon-black and moon-white over her domain and leaves it for planes unfettered; for the Shadowfell, the Abyss, kingdoms rotten, orphanages downtrodden. The Midsummer Prince dreams his midsummer dreams and here she wanders with a hand that knows all that it touches and the power to grant wishes with a kiss and in a way absent with eyes that stare through dream and flesh and soul they witness the greater world, becomes reclusive, hide and study and upon the faintest touch of moonless nightlight she sews new desires into the hearts of man and beast and plant so that when she wakes, she may play with them, know them, and again feel close to the world. So comes back the Winter Solstice and the Midsummer Prince wakes upon the back of the ancient turtle now the Hibernal Prince. Righteously he puts his domain back together, for in the time of his sleeping things wicked and many flood his world with nonsense, with foolishness. The season ends and so he sleeps again and returns the the Faraway Lover to wander all creation again, to observe and analyze and bestow wishes here and there, to subtly set up situations wherein her waking mind can like a stone cast down a hill roll forever and forever on in a momentum undeniably great. As continues the cycle. Riots & Sewing & Ruling & Studying, again and again and again and again, neither He nor She the original, neither separate, neither the same, their songs forever being sang, their songs forever being sang.
