Hokay, so I want to design a furry D&D world... Sofar, the best system I've found is here: http://members.aol.com/CountryGrrlHere/fauna.html Which, unfortunatly, doles out Large size much too happily while being a little stingy on the LA's for my tastes. So, I've gone and created my own race list but I'd like some neutral feedback on the playability and balance of them. So if you wouldnt mind, please give these a glance over and let me know what you think! Eratta V 1 Most races are devided into three catagorys. Small, Medium and Large. This is more to reflect the base species than the anthro versons. None of the Large races activly grants large size (although some grant 'Powerful Build', Only a few of the small species grant small size. In most cases the different sizes grant different stat modifiers and racial abilities. Unless otherwise noted, all races have the following abilities: Medium Size Base Land Speed: 30ft Favoured Class: Any. Species Modifiers: Apes - +2 Con, -2 Dex. For Apes. Large apes gain +2 Str -2 Dex. Apes are hardy, but not as agile as most of their fellows - Skilful. Apes gain +4 Skill points at 1st level, and +1 Skill point at every other level. - Natural Climbers: Apes gain a +4 racial modifier to climb checks. Sample Species: Ape: Baboon, Chimpanzee, Large Ape: Gorilla Orang-utan. Avians - +2 Dex -2 Con -2 Str.
