Ohio Gameday Logo

I finally got some free time with the GIMP and pounded out a preliminary of the logo design for the (on hold) Ohio Gameday. I want to try a few fonts on the lettering to find something different and I want to do a trace version for t-shirts so that I can look at setting up a t-shirt on CafePress. until then I welcome comments:

Two things:

1) I'm happy to volunteer the artistic skills of my brother-in-law (Crothian and a few others know him from the first Ohio Gameday) if you'll give me an idea of what you'd like for a logo. Alex was accepted into art school and looked at by Marvel comics before deciding on a career in medicine. He also has a ridiculous number of fonts available for the text portion of the logo.

2) Once you guys get a final date and location hammered out, I'll see if I can't swing the trip. I had to back out of the upcoming Chicago Gameday because me wife has taken ill and there's some surgery scheduled for the Wednesday before that event.
