I'm very grateful for that, so, with the revised and expanded BODD about to roll out, I've decided to release the bulk of the old BODD as freeware, 100% Open Game Content."The Freeware Edition of The Book of Distinctions & Drawbacks has been tweaked slightly to be compatible with both the 3.0 and 3.5 versions of the fantasy d20 system, and it's received a bit of a cosmetic treatment. The freeware edition will be in landscape format, optimized for screen viewing. It will contain a fairly straightforward and mostly binary system of character flaws and background advantages.
