Holy Cr@p! That sounds awesome!

I've been wanting to come up with a campaign which dealt in part with a portal to another plane, without inviting every single possible monster from the Outer and Inner Planes into the campaign. I was beginning to swipe a little bit from FRCS, and the idea of the City of Shade, but Ghostwalk sounds very, very cool.

Don't thank me - Krug had it on his invaluable news thread!

Oh i did? I just reposted it again in today's news thread. Me brain be getting rusty like an orcish sword...

Dude, we've known about this for ages. You missed all the threads about it. Most people were dissapointed it was a setting and not a cool sorcebook.

I'm suprised some of you are just now finding out about it....

Well, there's been talk about it, but it's all been pretty vague up til now. It sounds like it IS supposed to be more of a sourcebook than setting, actually.

We knew a little bit about it. SKR just posted more info about it; the update is dated 8/14, so you couldn't have been discussing it in detail too much, beyond a lot of speculation, which is what I recall from all those threads you cite.

Krug - wait; I thought I read it on your news thread...didn't I?

Ghostwalk sounds like it borrowed very liberally from Ultima Online & other MMORGs, specifically in that ghosts can find their stuff on the ground or drag their bodies back for resurrection at the local temple.

Very videogame, though that isn't a bad thing.
