Message: <blockquote data-quote="BOZ" data-source="post: 760264" data-attributes="member: 1241">here's the text i wrote so far, please critique:Xiraquatl is Omata’s constant companion.  She appears as a huge couatl for the most part, almost as big as Omata himself.  She differs from the standard couatl in that her scales are blue and her wing feathers are green, and she has two arms with clawed hands that allow her to wield items such as staffs, wands, and rods, but not weapons.  Xiraquatl is actually a half dragon, and mind flayer wizards destroyed her gold dragon father ages ago.  To add to her enmity, her mother was eaten by a neothelid almost a century ago.  Soon after, Omata found this distraught creature, taking her under his wing.  Xiraquatl is a calm and collected strategist, who serves Omata in his private war against the mind flayers, using her considerable intelligence to wreak vengeance upon them.Seshiirish has a less than personal relationship with Omata.  She was influenced by his goodness, leaving the Elemental Planes to do her own kind of good.  She is a pacifistic being and does not seek to take up Omata’s conflict with the mind flayers, but rather serves him as a rain-bringer.  In her time on the plane of Water, she gained a rare capacity for sentience as well as kindness, and now travels along the outskirts of civilization, seeking out those in need.</blockquote>
