Apparently Doom was wounded by an alien called Hunger. He was going to be disintegrated, so he tried to take Reed with him. He held out his hand, and Reed for some reason took it. The comic ended with both seemingly blasted to atoms. This was the part I remembered.But of course, neither really died. They were teleported away by Hyperstorm.</blockquote>
