Message: <blockquote data-quote="John Crichton" data-source="post: 1124376" data-attributes="member: 4779">Hmm, I also hated The Thin Red Line.  I know many folks really like it but I thought it was boring as sin and a terrible flick.  However, Once Upon A Time in Mexico was no where near as boring.  I thought Depp stole the film similar to what he did in Pirates of the Caribbean, altho the former was a better film.I would have liked to see more of Selma Hayek but since El Mariachi is a tragic character it makes sense that she wasn't in the movie much because of what happened to her character.  It wasn't as good as Desperado but was a fun movie while being slightly confusing at the same time.Fun action, funny when it needed to be.  Too bad the theater I saw it at had a terrible projectionist and the picture was slightly out of focus the entire time.  Oh well.3 out of 4 stars.4 = Classic. Blew me away from start to finish.3 = Very good. Entertaining and a worthwhile experience.2 = Average. Watchable but flawed.1 = Terrible. Unwatchable dreck.0 = I wish I had that time back. So bad that I almost walked out of the theater.</blockquote>
