I gotta agree with Felon here. I am a pretty forgiving fella but advertisement sure has paid in this case. If you can't figure out how to operate a carriage return and form a thought, then for god's sake don't represent a professional effort on a public forum. I want to know who had the onerous duty of reading the submission? PROWLER - In an effort to derive some value from this thread, I would suggest that you take the advice offered in the kindest spirit that you can. RPGnow wants to make money, they are a business and that is the end goal of business. They have reviewed your submission and determined that it will not make them money and, in fact, may cost them money in the long term. You need to step back and punt. I would suggest that you start by HIRING a professional editor. See what a pro has to say -- and no, your buddy who works at company XX as a writer doesn't count. Pay someone money and put their name right under those covers along side of your own. This is called a vested interest. Nobody that I know wants thier name associated with a hunk of steaming dung. The good news is this, if you hire a pro, he or she will improve your project or put a bullet in it rather than allow you to put their name on it. Second point, taking a dig at a business because they refused to recognize the glory of your endeavor is sinking about as low as you can go. A good number of people on ENworld and, I say with some certianty, all of the people who have posted on this thread, understand far more about why a famous someone left RPGnow than you. You apparently either don't know the factors involved or are purposefully distorting them to cause harm. Ignorance or malice? I wish you the best of luck but unless you understand the conventions, breaking them is the surest path of folly.
