Ok, so I was compiling this stuff for a friend of mine, and this is what I ended up using: (some of your stuff, some of my own, and it's kinda big, so I'll sblock it) [sblock]Advice: The Alphabet Edition Always say thank you. Be careful with words such as "obviously" or "clearly." Sometimes it's not so obvious or clear. Call your friends when they pop into your head randomly. Don't sweat the petty stuff, and don't pet the sweaty stuff. Exhibit happiness whenever you can. It's contagious. Forgive wrongdoings. Everyone needs a second chance. Give praise easily. There's plenty of cynicism in the world already. Help whenever you can. Joy follows. Involve yourself. No one can do it for you. Joke around. Life's serious enough. Know thyself. You are the only you. Love your neighbor as yourself. (Is there any better advice?) Make time to do the things you want. It won't make itself. Never ever use absolutes. Ever. Open your eyes to see from other's points of view. You might see something completely new. Party. Seriously, why not? Quiet your mind occasionally. The noise can be overwhelming otherwise. Random acts of kindness are a blessing to both the giver and receiver. Stir things up. Nobody likes stagnation. This, too, shall pass. Be it a joyous moment or a struggle, don't get caught there too long. Use the gifts God has given you. He knows what He's doing. Volunteer. There aren't enough people willing to serve. Welcome new people. They just might become your best friend! Xenophobia is unnecessary. (Give me a break...it's the letter "X") You often regret the things you don't do more than the things you do. Zeppelin rules. It's true. Just listen to "Rock and Roll" and try to not have your spirits lifted. (Ok, "Z" was tough, too.)[/sblock]
